Greetings from the Chef

Karibu Saitaniya. I am Ryu from Fukuoka, Japan. Fukuoka is a city known for its richness of locally produced fresh foods and vibrant dining culture. In my childhood, I liked sitting at a table in his restaurant. He taught me how to appreciate seasonal foods and cook them with various techniques to create "umami". I eventually pursued a career in Italian (particularly Roman) cuisine and served as a sous chef for a classical Roman restaurant in Tokyo. After 10 years of experience, I now like improvising the combination of Japanese and Italian food cultures on my plates. In my personal life, I am a father of a toddler and love meeting new people.
